Varun Arte Secretary-General

Born in cosmopolitan Mumbai, educated in dynamic Beijing and now residing in the bustling streets of Bangkok, Varun is a junior at Penn, and is ecstatic to be a part of UPMUNC this year!!! He was an active participant in MUN for all 4 years of high school, was the Under-Secretary General for Crisis Committees at last year's UPMUNC, and is super excited to meet new people at the conference this year (plus, he gets to wear a suit =P)!! Varun loves spending time with friends, playing sports, eating food and eating more food (especially the unhealthy kind) and then playing some more sports!! He is highly skilled and a force to be reckoned with in Tennis, Soccer and local Chinese favorite, Ping Pong! =P (Btw, he also really likes smileys). He also loves theater and watching movies!! Varun is looking forward to having the awesomest, most fantabulous, totally rocking UPMUNC ever!! =D With his partner in crime, Mr. Karthik Kumar, and the rest of his fantastic team, Varun is looking forward to ensuring that UPMUNC XLVI lives up to its expectations.
