Dear Delegates,

I warmly welcome you all to UPMUNC 56. My name is Corey Rudman, and I will be serving as your Crisis Director for the White Lotus committee.  I hope you are all as excited as I am for our conference and the missions, debates, and directives we will draft and encounter throughout the weekend.

A little bit about myself: I am a sophomore from Chicago, studying Political Science and American History in the College of Arts and Sciences. Outside of being your Crisis Director this weekend, I am the Vice President of Jewish Content for the Jewish Heritage Program at Penn, an editor for Penn Appetit, and am on our traveling Model UN team INTERCOL. In my free time, I love to listen to good music and cook.

Our committee is a true Crisis Committee ā€” so I encourage you all to think outside the box. Iā€™m excited to have a dynamic backroom: we encourage you to explore deep and creative crisis arcs and will make sure that our committee is as action-packed as it is innovative. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Best,

Corey Rudman
