1800 U.S. Presidential Election

Debates over freedom of speech, mass misinformation, foreign interference, unrestrained immigration, disagreements over the limits of federal power, and an economy in deep recession caused by the collapse of the world trading system, sound familiar? It’s the year 1800 and the incumbent federalist President John Adams is being challenged by Thomas Jefferson, of the resurgent Democratic-Republican party.

Delegates in this committee will represent historical figures critical to this election, and their goal will be to see the United States survive this election season while at the same time making sure that their personal goals are attained in the shadows of Capitol Hill. Expect the unexpected.
