The Spice must flow

10,191 years after the end of the Butlerian Jihad, the Imperium is at the brink of war. The political rivalry of House Atreides and House Harkonnen seems to be headed to a cataclysmic confrontation. But this feud is not limited to politics, behind the scenes, conflicts and plots that go back thousands of years are about to spill out into the open, as the Spacing Guild clings to its beloved melange and the Bene Gesserit bring forth their messiah, the Kwisatz Haderach.

This great conflict will be fought on the planet Arrakis, known as Dune in the language of the native Fremen. As this is committee is a JCC, delegates will be tasked with fighting for either House Atreides or House Harkonnen as characters in the broader Dune story. The goal of each side will be to successfully take control of Arrakis and gain monopoly over the spice Melange, thereby attaining supreme power over the universe, as every child in the Imperium knows:
